LifeStack Tools exists to provide free, fast, and private online utilities that people actually need. We believe essential tools like calculators, formatters, and converters should be accessible to everyone — without accounts, subscriptions, or data collection.
LifeStack was created by Stephen Ephesis, a software engineer who got tired of Googling the same tools every day — JSON formatters, regex testers, mortgage calculators — and landing on slow, ad-heavy sites that required signups. So he built a single destination for all of them.
What started as a handful of developer tools has grown into a collection of 61+ utilities spanning software development, personal finance, health and fitness, travel planning, and everyday calculations.
Privacy first. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your data — whether it's JSON code, resume text, or financial numbers — never leaves your device. We don't track individual users, and we don't sell data.
No accounts required. You should be able to use any tool instantly without creating an account or providing an email address. Your saved preferences and data are stored locally in your browser using localStorage.
Free forever. All tools are and will remain free. The site is supported by non-intrusive advertising and affiliate recommendations for relevant products.
Fast and lightweight. The entire site is under 100KB. No heavy frameworks, no unnecessary dependencies. Tools load instantly and work offline once cached.
